Students invited to design Homecoming poster

(Sept. 29, 2006)--The UTSA Homecoming Committee invites UTSA students to submit entries for the 2007 Homecoming Commemorative Poster Contest. Students can poster designs from Monday, Oct. 2 through Monday, Nov. 6.

Entry forms including the contest rules and regulations are available at the Office of Student Activities in University Center Room 1.02.08 on the 1604 Campus. The Homecoming 2007 theme is "Tradition - Spirit - Pride."
The grand-prize winner will receive $250 and a trophy. Students placing second and third also will receive trophies. The grand-prize entry will be used on Homecoming publicity and promotional materials including posters, Web sites and calendars.
Group entries will not be accepted. A panel of students, faculty, staff and alumni will judge entries, and the winners will be announced Monday, Nov. 20.

UTSA Homecoming 2007 is Feb. 15-17. The Homecoming men's basketball game is Saturday, Feb. 17 against the Texas State Bobcats.
