Parking lot 1 at 1604 Campus to close Dec. 3

(Nov. 30, 2006)--As of Sunday, Dec. 3, parking lot 1 at the UTSA 1604 Campus will cease to exist.

The parking lot will be closed to make way for construction of the Laurel Village student housing facility. The lot will barricaded Sunday by the contractor.
Parking lot 1 is northwest of the University Center and west of the parking garage.
Parking and transportation staff members will be on hand for several days at the closed parking lot 1 to direct traffic to lots with open parking spaces.
