
UTSA hosts Nov. 28, 30 screenings of 'Nine Queens'

(Nov. 22, 2006)-- UTSA will host Nov. 28 and 30 screenings of the Argentinean film, "Nine Queens" (or "Nueve Reinas") from 7 to 9 p.m. in Humanities and Social Sciences Building Room 2.01.24 at the 1604 Campus.

The film is about two con artists who try to swindle a stamp collector by selling him a sheet of counterfeit rare stamps (the "nine queens"). Directed by Fabian Bielinsky, the 2000 film is in Spanish with English subtitles.
The screening is sponsored by the Office of International Programs, the Hispanic Student Association, the Department of Modern Languages and Literatures and the Office of Student Activities.
