Advisers needed for alternative spring break

(Jan. 25, 2007)--Advisers are needed for an alternative spring break project in Mexico.
Each spring, the UTSA Office of Volunteer Services and the student organization VOICES (Volunteer Organization Involving Community Education and Service) offer students an alternative spring break program.

RSS FeedsThis year's alternative spring break is Monday, March 12-Saturday, March 17 at the Casa de Nazareth Orphanage in Piedras Negras, Mexico, where students and advisers will work with a local priest. Piedras Negras is across the border from Eagle Pass, Texas.
Advisers must be 21 years old, able to speak Spanish and willing to drive a sports utility vehicle. Twelve people will go on the trip including students and advisers.
The application deadline is 5 p.m., Thursday, Feb. 1.
