Meet the teams at UTSA Roadrunner Ruckus Oct. 12

(Oct. 10, 2007)--With the start of the 2007-08 basketball seasons right around the corner, the UTSA Athletics marketing and promotions department will host Roadrunner Ruckus on Friday, Oct. 12 at the Convocation Center, 1604 Campus.

RSS FeedsThe event, which is the public's first opportunity to meet this year's men's and women's teams, will begin at 8 p.m. outside the Convocation Center with free burgers and hot dogs. The Convo doors will open one hour later.
Festivities will include a slam-dunk showcase, three-point shooting contest and special performances by the UTSA cheerleaders, Chaparelle dance line and both basketball teams.
Limited edition t-shirts will be given away and there also will be a raffle for a DVD player, a five-disc changer stereo and movie tickets.
