Enter Halloween costume contest at Friday soccer

(Oct. 29, 2008)--The UTSA Athletics Department invites UTSA students, faculty and staff to celebrate Halloween this Friday, Oct. 31 at the women's soccer match against Central Arkansas. Admission to all home soccer matches is free. Festivities begin at 6:30 p.m. with trick-or-treating, and the game begins at 7 p.m. with a Halloween costume contest at halftime.

It also is Chipotle Senior Night as UTSA will honor its two seniors -- Carly Chudej and Rachel Francis -- in a pre-match ceremony. The three loudest fans will receive a free Chipotle burrito as part of the promotion.
Mini soccer balls will be given away before the match while supplies last, so get there early to celebrate Halloween and UTSA soccer.
The Roadrunners enter the match in a three-way tie for third place in the Southland Conference standings with a 4-2-1 record, while Central Arkansas is tied for eighth at 1-5-1.
UTSA will host Northwestern State, which also is tied for third entering the weekend, at 1 p.m., Sunday, Nov. 2 in the regular season finale.
