UTSA president announces final QEP topic
(Jan 23, 2009)--UTSA President Ricardo Romo announces that the topic, "Quantitative Scholarship: From Literacy to Mastery," has been selected for UTSA's Quality Enhancement Plan (QEP), a critical element of the SACS Commission on Colleges reaccreditation process.

Romo extends his congratulations to the authors and thanks the authors of all the QEP topic proposals for their hard work and dedication to improving UTSA, the many university community participants who attended focus group meetings to help the authors develop their proposals, and the QEP Selection Committee members, who devoted many hours to reviewing and assessing the final QEP proposals.
Nandini Kannan, UTSA professor of management sciences and statistics, is developing the QEP proposal into a full plan. To provide comments and suggestions for the plan, e-mail Janice Kramer, UTSA Office of the Vice Provost for Accountability and Institutional Effectiveness.
