(April 2, 2009)--When April arrives in San Antonio and at UTSA -- that means it's time to celebrate Fiesta! UTSA community members, friends and families are invited to join fellow Roadrunners at a popular UTSA pre-Fiesta event -- "Jazzed Up."

The Campus Activities Board in collaboration with the Office of Student Activities will jump-start the celebration with the 10th annual "Jazzed Up" (also known as NIUTSA) from 4 to 7 p.m., Saturday, April 4 at Bill Miller Plaza on the UTSA Downtown Campus.
The free event will feature performances by the Alex Sutherlin Project (all UTSA students) and the George Morin Band. There also will be balloon artists, Bill Miller barbecue, inflatables, crafts and other family-friendly fun.
