

UTSA Rowdy Roadrunner Pep Band
UTSA pep band performs April 9 at Main Campus

(April 8, 2009)--Just back from an ESPN2 appearance at the NCAA Women's Division II Basketball Championship, the UTSA Rowdy Roadrunner Pep Band will present a special performance, "Pep Band-O-Rama," to end the 2008-2009 season. The free event is 7:30 to 9 p.m., Thursday, April 9 in the University Center Ballroom (1.106) on the UTSA Main Campus.

The event will feature performances of favorite tunes such as "Brick House," "Jungle Boogie," "Give Up the Funk" and "Land of 1,000 Dances," along with skits and surprise events.
Last month, the UTSA Rowdy Roadrunner Pep Band revved up UTSA students and other fans as they anxiously awaited the introduction of Larry Coker as UTSA's first head football coach.
At the April 9 performance, donations will be accepted and appreciated to support the UTSA bands.
Ben Ware is pep band director, Joseph Guzman is pep band assistant and Donald Miller is pep band supervisor.
