UTSA participates in college fairs attended by Governor Perry
(May 13, 2010)--The UTSA Office of P-20 Initiatives, Office of Admissions and Office of Financial Aid Outreach will participate in an All University College Fair at Brackenridge High School in San Antonio today from 5:30 to 7 p.m. Local elected officials and Texas Governor Rick Perry are expected to attend. The fair is meant to encourage middle and high school students to seek higher education after graduation and provide college information to them and their families.
The UTSA Mobile Go Center (MGC) also will be on-site. The MGC is a one-stop source of college knowledge staffed by UTSA representatives who help prospective college students and their families research colleges, prepare applications for admission and answer questions about financial aid.
Earlier this week, UTSA representatives and Perry were at a College Fair at Moody High School in Corpus Christi.
