University Career Center hosts work-study job fair Aug. 31 at Main Campus
(Aug. 23, 2010)--The University Career Center will host a work-study job fair at the UTSA Main Campus from 2:30 to 4:30 p.m., Tuesday, Aug. 31 at the University Center first floor adjacent to the bookstore.
For offices and departments, the fair is an opportunity to find work-study students to fill open positions. Registration is free, and the career center will provide a table, two chairs, a sign with the department name and access to career center interview rooms. To participate in the fair, contact Victoria Tesillo at 210-458-4588.
For students who were awarded fall work-study funds through the Office of Financial Aid, the fairs are an opportunity to seek employment in UTSA departments needing student work-study employees. Students should check the ASAP information system to see if they were awarded fall funds or call Enrollment Services at 210-458-8000. When coming to the job fair, applicants should bring resume copies, class schedules and copies of their financial aid award letter.
