UTSA alumnus Jake Owen to appear on Nov. 24 David Letterman show
(Nov. 22, 2010)--UTSA alumnus and musician Jake Owen '03, will appear on CBS' "Late Show with David Letterman" with musical performer Sahara Smith at 10:30 p.m., Wednesday, Nov. 24.
An Austin singer and songwriter, Smith has received rave reviews from the Los Angeles Times and Texas Monthly magazine for her latest CD, "Myth of the Heart."
Owen, who toured the country for the last two years as guitar player for Smith's band, graduated from UTSA in 2003 with a bachelor's degree in music composition. A composer and producer, Owen also spent this year playing and touring the country with several bands.
