Faculty and staff: It's not too late to give to the State Employee Charitable Campaign
(Nov. 3, 2010)--For UTSA faculty and staff members who haven't given already, it's not too late to donate to the UTSA State Employee Charitable Campaign -- the deadline is Friday, Nov. 5.
Donations will go to each employee's choice of groups from more than 500 agencies and nonprofit organizations that help people in need across San Antonio and Bexar County.
Last year, 91 percent of UTSA employees donated to one or more SECC charities. As the saying goes, "Let's do it again in 2010!" That support demonstrates the UTSA heritage of caring and helping others.
Helpful hints
- Remember that with payroll deduction, your deductions will not start until January.
- To donate, go to the UTSA State Employee Charitable Campaign website. At the top of the page, select "Ways to Give," then "Give Online -- eWay."
- If you try to sign in at the eWay donation website and are not successful, try using your previous UTSA network password.
Thanks for your support, and remember - it's not how much you give -- it's that you participate.
