New Starbucks opens at John Peace Library food court on UTSA Main Campus
(Dec. 1, 2010)--A new Starbucks is open for business at the John Peace Library food court on the UTSA Main Campus. The second licensed Starbucks coffee shop at UTSA was established through the partnership of ARAMARK, UTSA Business Auxiliary Services and UTSA Facilities Services.
The updating of the furniture in the JPL food court and the opening of Starbucks is the result of feedback through extensive customer research and surveys.
"The community spoke, and we listened," said Clay Haverland, UTSA interim director of business auxiliary services. "So, now customers have the added convenience of purchasing their favorite pastry or eggnog latte in the University Center or JPL before heading to the library to study for finals."
Starbucks hours in the UC and JPL through Dec. 14 are:
- Monday-Thursday, 7 a.m.-midnight
- Friday, 7 a.m.-7 p.m.
- Saturday, 10 a.m.-7 p.m.
- Sunday, noon-7 p.m.
