UTSA, Instituto Cultural de Mexico host Mexican cellist Carlos Prieto on April 8

(April 7, 2011)--The UTSA Mexico Center and the Instituto Cultural de Mexico will host a free performance by Mexican cellist Carlos Prieto at 7 p.m., Friday, April 8 in the Instituto Cultural de Mexico auditorium, 600 HemisFair Park, San Antonio, Texas, 78205.

Prieto is a renowned musician who has played with the Royal Philharmonic in London, the Chamber Orchestra of the European Union, the American Symphony Orchestra in New York, the Boston Pops, the Berlin Symphony Orchestra, among many others.

He is author of "The Adventures of a Cello," which will be available for signing at the concert.
