UTSA Roadrunner Days: Kickback at the UC party is Sunday, Aug. 24
(Aug. 22, 2014) -- UTSA Roadrunner Days continues with the 10th annual "Kickback at the UC" party from 4 to 6 p.m., Sunday, Aug. 24 at the University Center Paseo on the Main Campus.
The UTSA community is invited to enjoy live music, dance performances, free food sampling from the University Center dining venues, games, activities, contests and giveaways including the official "2014 Kickback at the UC" t-shirt. In keeping with the 10th anniversary, there will be cake!
While enjoying the activities on the paseo, check out the UC offices, Campus Technology Store, Frost Bank, Princeton Review, Rios Golden Cut Salon, UPS Store, UTSA Bookstore and other services available to students and the entire UTSA community.
Make plans to stick around for a free screening of "Maleficent" at 6 p.m. in the Retama Auditorium (2.02.02). It's the year's first installment of the popular UC Cinema Nights.
Known as the "heart of student life," the UC is the home away from home for students. It's the place to host events and meetings, study, eat and be part of campus life.
The official kick-off of the new academic year, UTSA Roadrunner Days is a series of themed events running through Friday, Aug. 29 at the Main and Downtown campuses. The events and activities give students an opportunity to take part in time-honored UTSA traditions and connect with UTSA resources.
