(Sept. 5, 2014) -- The Frost Bank Plaza Club will host a photography exhibit featuring the work of six photographers connected to UTSA and one local photographer. Arturo Almeida, curator of the UTSA Art Collection
Calen Barnum, UTSA M.F.A. candidate

>> An opening reception is 6-8 p.m., Monday, Sept. 8 at the Plaza Club, Frost Bank Tower, 21st floor, 100 W. Houston St., San Antonio 78205. The event is free and open to the public. Complementary parking will be available in the bank garage.

Artist and curator Raul Gonzalez has put together an exhibition that examines a variety of histories. Each artist has contributed bodies of work that provoke questions about nostalgia, personal experiences, city development and references to art history.  The selected group includes both established and emerging artists in San Antonio. "Some Sort of History" is a reminder that each individual contributes to history in some way or form.

Viewing hours at 7 a.m.-7 p.m., Monday and Tuesday; 7 a.m.-9 p.m., Wednesday and Friday and 5:30-9 p.m., Saturday.
