UTSA President Ricardo Romo to deliver State of the University address Sept. 30
(Sept. 15, 2014) -- UTSA President Ricardo Romo will deliver the annual State of the University address at 3 p.m., Tuesday, Sept. 30 in the H-E-B University Center Ballroom (1.104) on the UTSA Main Campus.
Romo will recount the milestones UTSA reached this year -- including the university’s 45th anniversary, top-tier rankings and 100,000 graduates -- and outline new initiatives in UTSA’s advance to Tier One recognition.
Romo will be introduced by Tom Frost, chairman emeritus of Frost. A longtime UTSA supporter, Frost is leading the last year of the university’s first capital campaign, We Are UTSA: A Top-Tier Campaign.
Faculty, staff and students are encouraged to attend the event. A reception will follow the address. Parking for community guests will be available in the Ximenes Avenue Garage, accessible from UTSA Boulevard.
