UTSA Graduate School launches YouVisit virtual tour of Main Campus
(Sept. 24, 2014) -- The UTSA Graduate School announces the launch of UTSA's first virtual tour of the Main Campus. The YouVisit Project, a collaborative effort of the Graduate School and Undergraduate Admissions, brings an up-close and personal view of UTSA to prospective graduate and undergraduate students.
The online virtual presentation targets both domestic and international viewers, and supplements UTSA's increasing awareness of alternative information resources available to interested student candidates. Additional mini-tours of UTSA, including the Downtown Campus, are coming soon.
During the online 20-stop tour, new Roadrunners travel the campus while absorbing facts about UTSA. Each stop on the online excursion includes a brief description of the academic college, services and offices that the site hosts.
Additionally, participants can view videos, still pictures and 360-degree panoramic shots that connect to each stop. The YouVisit tour also features text-only subtitles for each tour stop and includes language transitions from English to Spanish or Mandarin at the click of a user's mouse.
