Telemundo newscast will be broadcast live from UTSA on Nov. 19
(Nov. 17, 2014) -- The University of Texas at San Antonio (UTSA) will host a live newscast by Telemundo San Antonio, KVDA TV channel 60, from 4:30 to 5:30 p.m., Wednesday, Nov. 19 at Sombrilla Plaza on the UTSA Main Campus. As part of Telemundo's College Month, the UTSA community is invited to attend the broadcast.
KVDA news anchors, sports reporters and weather anchors will speak with members of the UTSA community to highlight the university.
UTSA football player Mauricio Sanchez is scheduled to appear in the sports segment. Additionally, there will be interviews in the broadcast with representatives from two UTSA Latino student organizations.
Ms. UTSA 2014 Ileana Gonzalez, a junior business administration major from Guadalajara, Mexico, is scheduled to be interviewed during the weather segment. Mr. UTSA 2014 Carl Willis, a junior finance major from Houston, is also set to appear in the broadcast.
