Six UTSA alumni make San Antonio Business Journal's 40 Under 40 list for 2016

(Jan. 5, 2015) -- UTSA alumni are making a significant impact in the community. The San Antonio Business Journal (SABJ) has recognized six UTSA alumni on its 40 Under 40 list, which honors rising community leaders and business professionals under the age of 40 in the greater San Antonio area.

Alumni from several UTSA colleges were represented.

UTSA College of Business:

  • Somer Baburek ’13, B.B.A in entrepreneurship, CEO, Claresta Solutions
  • Brenda Davila ’11, B.B.A. in real estate development, director of business development and leasing associate, Magi Real Estate Services
  • Stewart Wedge ’07, B.B.A. in accounting, CEO, Camp Our Way

UTSA College of Architecture, Construction and Planning:

  • Andy Castillo B.S. ’07 & M.A.’10 in architecture, co-director, South San Main Street Project
  • Lee Imbimbo ’09, M.A. in architecture, managing principal, Michael Imbimbo Inc.

UTSA College of Sciences:

  • Eloy Flores ’01, B.S. in biology, research and development manager for the Southwest Research Institute

The winners of the SABJ 40 Under 40 awards will be recognized at an evening reception on Feb. 11.
