(SALE) Scholarship

First-time freshman must maintain at least 2.0 GPA during their freshman year and at least a 2.5 GPA each semester thereafter
Must be a Bexar County resident
Must be a citizen of the United States and produce a valid Social Security number
Must enroll full time and complete a minimum of 12 credit hours
Must enroll in SALE-approved major

Must enroll in at least 12 credit hours at UTSA each semester with the intent of pursuing a degree in the sciences, engineering, or biotechnology
Must be from South Texas, with preference given to students residing in rural communitites in or south of Bexar County
Incoming first-time fresmen must have graduated in the top 25 percent of their high school class and have a minimum SAT score of 950 or a minimum ACT score of 18
Transfer and current UTSA student applicants must have no more than 30 semester hours and have a mimimum 2.75 GPA
Must demonstrate financial need as determined by Student Financial Aid

Enroll in 12 credit hours each semester at UTSA, with at least three courses taken each semester at the UTSA Downtown Campus
Have a minimum 2.0 GPA

Must be enrolled full time (at least 12 hours) except when recipient is in final semester and does not require 12 hours to graduate
Must be enrolled in at least 3 hours at the Downtown Campus in the first semester of award
Must demonstrate financial need as determined by Student Financial Aid
Maintain 2.0 GPA

Must be Bexar County resident
Must enroll as a full time undergraduate (at least 12 hours) at UTSA
Must demonstrate financial need as determined by Student Financial Aid
Preference will be given to applicants who are the first generation in their family to attend a college or university

Must maintain a cumulative GPA of 2.75 each semester
Must enroll full time (at least 12 hours) and complete at least 12 hours each semester
