The minimum number of semester credit hours required for this degree, including the Core Curriculum requirements, is 120. Thirty-nine of the total semester credit hours required for the degree must be at the upper-division level.

Core Curriculum Requirements (42 semester credit hours)
Students seeking the Bachelor of Arts degree in Music must fulfill University Core Curriculum requirements in the same manner as other students. The course listed below will satisfy both degree requirements and Core Curriculum requirements; however, if this course is taken to satisfy both requirements, then students may need to take an additional course in order to meet the minimum number of semester credit hours required for this degree. - 22–26 semester credit hours of electives, of which 6 semester credit hours must be at the upper-division level. A minimum of 12 semester credit hours must be outside music. Courses are chosen in consultation with the student’s advisor.
