UTSA is located in the nation's seventh-largest city and Texas' top tourist destination. Home to the Alamo and other Spanish missions and a rich history of diverse cultures, San Antonio is an amazing environment in which to learn, discover and grow. Whether you take classes at the Main Campus or Downtown Campus, you can take advantage of all that the Alamo City has to offer.
Main Campus
The Main Campus is the hub of UTSA, where Roadrunners discover an exciting community with bustling activity occurring almost 24/7. At the foot of the Texas Hill Country but within walking distance of La Cantera's beautiful mall and Six Flags Fiesta Texas, the Main Campus combines a scenic landscape with the conveniences of a major city. With four residence halls, the Main Campus is where 3,700 Roadrunners live, eat and sleep each school year. Another 5,000 students live within walking distance of campus.
Downtown Campus
The Downtown Campus is in the heart of the city's vibrant business, social and cultural districts. The College of Architecture and the College of Public Policy both benefit greatly from their primary location at the Downtown Campus. Over 6,000 students choose to take classes at the Downtown Campus where they can complete all of your core classes or enroll in one of 18 undergraduate and eight graduate degree programs which can be completed here in their entirety.
Hemisfair Park Campus
The HemisFair Park Campus, also in downtown San Antonio, is home to UTSA's Institute of Texan Cultures. Located a short walk from the Alamo and the River Walk, the 182,000-square-foot museum hosts exhibits and live performances and is a wonderful place to learn about the cultural history and traditions of the Lone Star State. As a Smithsonian Affiliate, the ITC benefits from artifacts and educational programs shared by an exclusive group of member museums.
