Reminder: COVID-19 Vaccine Appointments Are Still Available For Eligible Employees!
Earlier this week, UTSA announced two options for eligible employees to receive COVID-19 vaccinations. This is part of our ongoing effort to vaccinate as many members of the Roadrunner community as possible, based on interest and eligibility.
UTSA Vaccine Clinics
Appointments are still available to receive the Moderna vaccine at the Main Campus clinic on Tuesday, March 9. You are eligible to schedule an appointment if this will be your first dose of the COVID-19 vaccine and you qualify under current eligibility requirements. Appointments are available on a first-come, first-served basis. We encourage you to visit our COVID-19 vaccine web page for additional information on the vaccine, what you can expect at your appointment, and more.
The Moderna vaccine requires a second dose administered 4-6 weeks after the first dose. When UTSA receives a first dose allocation, the second dose is automatically provided to us at a later date. As the time for your second dose approaches, you will receive instructions to schedule your appointment from UTSA Recovery Operations.
If you have questions regarding UTSA’s vaccination clinics, we encourage you to review our COVID-19 vaccine FAQs or reach out to recoveryops@utsa.edu.
UT Health San Antonio Appointments
In addition to the UTSA vaccine clinics, eligible faculty and staff also have the opportunity to get a COVID-19 vaccine through UT Health San Antonio. Earlier this week, you received communication from UT Health San Antonio with information and instructions for scheduling an appointment. If you qualify under current eligibility requirements and are unable to attend the UTSA vaccine clinic, we encourage you to take advantage of this vaccine opportunity. To schedule your vaccine at UT Health San Antonio, please open the latest email from UT_HEALTH_DoNotReply@uthscsa.edu and confirm your interest by clicking on the link.
