The 49th Annual Fiesta Arts Fair medal is designed by artist Cruz Ortiz in his stylistic font. Ortiz is a graduate of The University of Texas at San Antonio and is a renowned contemporary artist known for his paintings, screenprints and installations. The UTSA Fiesta Arts Fair, held on the UTSA Southwest historic campus, has grown into a highlight of the annual Fiesta San Antonio® celebration.
