Overview

Use Case

Affiliated sites and third party applications/site may or may not use a UTSA footer depending on the business case and technical limitations

Guidelines

Do's & Don'ts

  • Do use the provided HTML, CSS, and JS
  • Do use as-is
  • Don’t change background colors, font color, styles, sizes, weights, or family.
  • Don’t change out the institutional logo or any of the links

 

Responsive Layouts

Responsiveness is handled via Bootstrap 5’s columns and rows and should not be edited.

Accessibility

Users should be able to do the following with assistive technology/keyboard:

  • Read all text or have alternative text using the alt attribute on images
  • All alternative text/ alt tags must be unique, in other words, no doubles or copies
  • Tab through all navigable items
  • All tab navigable items need to be highlighted visually with appropriate contrast
