The San Antonio MBDA Advanced Manufacturing Center (MBDA-AMC) is funded by the Minority Business Development Agency (MBDA) and operated by the VALDEZ Institute for Economic Development at the University of Texas San Antonio. This nationwide program provides socially or economically disadvantaged businesses in various industries with a wide range of business development services, including specialized training, access-to-contract opportunities, business matchmaking and referrals, and access-to-capital services.

Students have their choice of registering for modules by week or the entire certificate series. Students that attend all modules will receive the UTSA Using AI to Help Launch Your Startup Certificate. The program is delivered virtually over eight consecutive weeks for a total of 48 hours.
