UTSA Bicultural-Bilingual Studies calls for conference proposal submissions
(Nov. 19, 2014) -- The UTSA Department of Bicultural-Bilingual Studies is seeking presentation proposals for its Texas Foreign Language Education Conference (TexFLEC), which is Feb. 20-21 in the University Center on the UTSA Main Campus. The proposal submission deadline is Dec. 5.
This year's conference theme is "Educators Equipping Language Learners for Future Success: Practices, Policies and Curriculum." The annual conference brings together researchers, educator and students in the fields of foreign language education, teaching English as a foreign or second language, linguistics and applied linguistics. Following is a list of categories to use as a guide in developing a proposal:
- Applied linguistics
- Bilingual and multilingual communities
