UTSA photo of the day: Mil Gracias, Dr. Romo!
(Sept. 8, 2016) -- UTSA President Ricardo Romo announced yesterday to a packed house his intention to retire following the conclusion of the Spring 2017 academic semester. Romo is the fifth and longest serving president in the university’s 47-year history and its first Hispanic president. A native of San Antonio, he joined UTSA in 1999 after holding administrative and academic positions at The University of Texas at Austin. Watch a live stream of the press conference here.
