(Sept. 5, 2016) -- This pump in the UTSA laboratory of Ender Finol, associate professor of biomedical engineering, has been crafted to simulate the bloodflow around an an aortic aneurysm. It aids Finol and his students in their research efforts to halt the growth of aneurysms.
