(Nov. 12, 2018) -- The UTSA Alumni Association has started its ‘Get Rowdy and Wild’ partnership with the San Antonio Zoo to offer alumni, faculty, staff and the community an opportunity to join the association and the zoo for one low price.
The promotion, in its second year, offers new or renewing members both memberships for $45 for individual and $75 for joint. Current Alumni Association members may get a discounted season pass to the zoo for $15 (which is lower than one-day admission). Additional zoo memberships can be purchased for $35 for up to 10 people for all the various offers.
“The idea stemmed from one of our Alumni Association board members, Tim Morrow ‘97, who is the CEO of the zoo,” said Steve Woodall ’11, interim executive director of the UTSA Alumni Association. “This campaign is one way we provide a unique benefit to alumni, as well as supporting the community and education efforts being led by the zoo.”
The promotion goes on until Nov. 30.
