SEPTEMBER 19, 2023 — UTSA has announced the date for its Fall 2023 Commencement ceremonies.
In this defining moment of their academic journey, UTSA will celebrate students eligible to receive their degrees in December at one of two ceremonies on Saturday, December 9, at the Alamodome. Ceremony times will be posted as soon as they are available.
Additionally, UTSA’s Commencement festivities will include a Doctoral Hooding Ceremony for candidates earning their Ph.Ds. This special celebration will be held on Thursday, December 7, in the H-E-B Student Union Ballrooms (HSU 1.104). Doctoral graduates are also welcome to attend the ceremony for their academic college on Saturday, December 9, but the hooding process occurs only at the December 7 ceremony.
Graduates can purchase or rent regalia, announcements and other supplies to celebrate their Commencement at Grad Fest on Monday, October 9 and Tuesday, October 10. Information about Grad Fest will be shared with December 2023 graduates by email.
