President Eighmy encourages UTSA community to get out and vote

President Eighmy encourages UTSA community to get out and vote

NOVEMBER 7, 2023 — Editor’s note: The following message was sent today via email from President Taylor Eighmy to all faculty, staff and students:

Today is Election Day for the Joint Constitutional Amendments, General, Special, Charter and Bond Election. If you didn’t have a chance to vote early, now is the time to make your voice heard!

On Main Campus, you can cast your ballot in the Bexar Room at the H-E-B Student Union Ballroom (HSU 1.102) from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. You can also vote off-campus at any Bexar County Election Day Voting Center during that same time frame.

I encourage you to stay engaged by visiting #RowdyVOTES for helpful resources and following #RowdyVOTES and @UTSAEngaged on social media. If you want to learn how to get involved with on-campus voter registration and engagement efforts, explore our RowdyVOTES Community of Practice.

As I’ve shared with you many times, I believe civic engagement is at the heart of our democracy. No matter your political affiliation, your voice matters. I hope you’ll get engaged and vote today!
