Welcome to the future of the ITC!

How UTSA is celebrating Texas’ past with a museum of the future

Since its debut during the 1968 World’s Fair, the Institute of Texan Cultures (ITC) has been a fixture in downtown San Antonio that celebrates the uniqueness of the cultures that comprise Texas.

As the steward of the ITC, UTSA is committed to the museum’s future. The ITC Centennial 2068 initiative has been key to the university’s work reimagining this venue — including a new location, new exhibits and new interactive experiences.

Learn more about the exciting future of the museum through a special three-part podcast series, ITC: Museum of the Future, produced by University Strategic Communications and featuring UTSA leaders discussing the world of possibilities that await ITC, the preeminent storyteller of Texas.
