Scholarship and Stipend Vouchers

The following information should be on the voucher:

• Name of the student
• Social security number
• Resident status-if a foreign student is getting a check, they must have a social security number
• Type of scholarship or stipend
• Semester
• Account number
• Amount of disbursement
• Authorized signature (department head)

In addition, the award notice must be attached to the voucher. The student must sign the voucher and the award letter. The voucher should be in Disbursements 5 working days before the check is expected. Scholarship checks can be released to the student 10 days before classes start.
