When Are Refunds Processed?

Refunds are processed after census date. The census date is the deadline by which all enrollment and payment arrangements must be finalized. If you do not officially withdraw by the census date, you may remain liable to pay for your enrolled courses, even if not attending classes.

What's the Difference Between Refunds for Dropping and Withdrawing?

Dropping: Students will receive a 100 percent refund through census date when dropping one or more specific courses. For more information, see the UTSA Student Policies Catalog, Refund Policy for Withdrawal or Dropped Courses.

Withdrawing: The refund amount for withdrawing from the university (for the semester) varies by semester and the date in which the withdrawal is completed. For more information, see the UTSA Student Policies Catalog, Refund Policy for Withdrawal or Dropped Courses
