Where can I buy stamps?
UPS Store, located in the UTSA Student Union North.
Can we mail personal items in the mailroom?
No, the university does not handle personal mail. There is a USPS drop box for mail outside the mailroom. If the item is over 13 pounds, it must be taken to the nearest USPS location.
When is USPS mail required to be turned in to the mailroom?
Certified mail must be in the mailroom by 8:15 a.m. for same-day processing. All other mail must be in the mailroom by 3 p.m. to ensure same-day processing.
When is the latest I can bring a FedEx shipment for processing?
All large package shipments must be in the mailroom no later than 2 p.m. for processing. Letter size shipments must be in the mailroom no later than 2:30 p.m. for processing.
Where is the USPS mail box located?
Just outside the mailroom in the Multidisciplinary Studies Building service tunnel.
Are there any other drop boxes available?
There are after-hours drop boxes for USPS located in the service tunnel of the Multidisciplinary Studies Building.
When is the mail picked up by the USPS?
The mail is picked up by the USPS at 3:30 p.m., Monday through Friday. There are no weekend or holiday pickups made by the USPS.
How do I ship something for the university by FedEX?
Fill out a Shipping Request Form and bring the item(s) to the mailroom for processing.
