Tuition and Fee Changes

Under state law, The University of Texas Board of Regents is authorized to set tuition. The UT Board of Regents may consider proposed tuition and fee increases at an upcoming board meeting. Dollar amounts below are estimates based on the current academic year and could be adjusted later.

As a result of actions taken by the Texas Legislature to address affordability in higher education, all resident undergraduate academic costs, including tuition, mandatory academic fees, all academic-related general fees, and college course fees, have been frozen for the 2023-2024 and 2024-2025 academic years.
