Saturday, October 12

Run for Life x Rowdy Run 5K
7:00 - 10:00 am | East Campus Parking Lot

Rowdy Crew, Spirits of the Roadrunner, and Student Involvement Center are hosting Run for Life and Rowdy Run 5k at the UTSA Main Campus. Check-in will be from 7:00 to 8:00 am. The race begins at 8:00 am. Please stay for our closing remarks at 11:30 am!

Run for Life x Rowdy Run 5K Light Ceremony
10:30 am - 12:00 pm | H-E-B Student Union Ballrooms

This luminaria ceremony is in remembrance of those whose life have been touched by cancer.

During Roadrunners Give Back, choose from a variety of service projects on and off-campus to give back to your community and unite with Roadrunners past and present. RSVP for a service project with UTSA Volunteer Services! Birds Up! Go ‘Runners!

The Student Involvement Center will Kickoff HOCO 2024 at this fun celebration! Come grab some cool giveaways and snacks, and listen to music as we start the celebrate the Spirit, Pride, and Traditions of UTSA.

Now and Forever UTSA Student Philanthropy Society Thanks Day

Thanks Day is a way to show gratitude to those who support our Roadrunners. Alumni, friends, faculty, staff, and even student donors provide scholarships, support programming initiatives, athletics, and valuable research across campus.UTSA students, faculty, and staff members are all welcome to share a message on our giant thank you card in the Sombrilla Plaza. The Now and Forever UTSA Student philanthropy Society will be handing out sweet goods like cakes, cookies, and cupcakes as a thank-you. See you there! Spirit of the Roadrunner

Vote for Spirit of the Roadrunner - students who embody the spirit of UTSA while striving for the highest levels of academic achievement, campus involvement, and community service. The top two candidates will demonstrate that they carry out the Roadrunner Creed in their daily actions on campus. The UTSA Spirit of the Roadrunner award recipients will be announced during the Homecoming game halftime show!

Homecoming Fashion Show

Come to see your fellow Roadrunners strut their stuff on the runway. Participants will be dressed in the newest Rowdy Campus Store threads and merchandise. You won't want to miss this fun event from Campus Services.

Homecoming Blitz

UTSA Student Involvement Center is hosting Homecoming Blitz, a traditional spirited event that takes in the heart of the Downtown Campus. Join us for activities, and food, and get ready for the homecoming game. Homecoming Blitz will be in the Bill Miller Plaza.

HOCO DIY Bash
5:00 - 7:00 pm | SU Denman Ballroom

Create Homecoming DIY items and enjoy snacks with the Student Involvement Center!

Tailgate with a Twist
7:00 - 9:00 pm | Guadalupe Hall and Lawn

Enjoy games and good music while the RA's put on a show about what to do if you find yourself a bit too tipsy. Grab your friends and navigate through these party scenes or come out and just celebrate homecoming week! The first 250 people to go through the parties inside will get a food ticket!

UTSA Athletics will be in the Central Plaza for Game Week Wednesday where you'll find Coach Traylor hyping you up for this weekend's game.

Rowdy Jam
7:00 - 9:15 pm | Convocation Center

Rowdy Jam is an annual tip-off event to celebrate the start of the men’s and women’s basketball seasons. Head coaches Austin Claunch and Karen Aston will introduce their teams and students will be eligible to take part in various contests throughout the event. Free food will be provided for students on a first-come first-serve basis.

Silent Headphone Party

Come join the Student Involvement Center at our Silent Headphone Party! There will be RnB/Country/Pop/Reggae etc. Can't wait to see you all there!

During our campus version of CashCab, members of SGA will be traveling around campus in golf carts, picking up students to give them a ride to class and the opportunity to win BestFest tickets that can be used for food, drinks and fun! Make sure to study up on your UTSA trivia; it might just come in handy!

Homecoming Golf Tournament
1:00 pm Shotgun Start | Brackenridge Gold Course

Campus Recreation is hosting the 2024 UTSA Homecoming Golf Tournament, a 4-person, 18-hole scramble. The event will be held at Brackenridge Park Golf Course San Antonio, TX 78215. The tournament is a homecoming event for alums, current students, parents, faculty, staff, and friends of UTSA. Money raised from this event will be used to assist Campus Recreation student staff with attendance fees to national and regional conferences/workshops, which further their education and exposure to the fields of leadership development, university recreation, fitness and wellness, and facility management, outdoor recreation, and higher education.

When the games are over, head to BestFest to support our student organizations and feel the spirit of Homecoming!

This year’s event will feature dozens of foods, beverages, and game booths (all hosted by student organizations), carnival rides, a surprise-themed area, fireworks, and a concert! Cheer on the UTSA Football Team as they arrive at the Alamodome to take on Florida Atlantic. Roadrunner Alley is the large walkway between Alamodome Parking Lots B and C.

Student Indoor Tailgate
1:00 pm | Alamodome Field Level Multipurpose Room

This gathering spot for students will occur inside the Alamodome. Students & THEIR FAMILIES are invited to connect, cool down, and vibe before the game. It’s a great way to meet new people with all the fun of a tailgate. Free food and beverages will be available while it lasts. Door prizes include Game Concession Vouchers and UTSA apparel. Of course, it wouldn’t be Game Day without a surprise or two. Join us for some fun and excitement before the game. Remember, it’s always 72 degrees in the Alamodome!

Homecoming Football Game vs. Florida Atlantic Owls

The Roadrunners will take on the Owls for the 2024 Homecoming Game. Be sure to look out for the announcement of Spirit of the Roadrunner at the game. Purchase your home football game tickets. Current UTSA students can claim their free ticket with their UTSA login information.
