Travel and Accommodations

Lodging and meals will be provided throughout the conference weekend for the cost of the $25 registration fee. Students must ask their departments if travel funding is available, however no student will be turned away for lack of funds. Travel grants are available for those whose departments cannot cover full travel costs to the conference.

The conference hotel is the Wyndham Garden Hotel and it is located within walking distance of UTSA. However, transportation will be provided during the hours specified in the program and indicated below.

Friday

A shuttle will run in a loop between the hotel and the UTSA Biotechnology Sciences & Engineering Building (BSE) between 3pm and 6pm. A bus will transport people back to the hotel at 11pm.

Saturday

Bus transportation for the conference:
Hotel to the HEB University Center South at 7:00 am and 7:30 am
HEB University Center South to hotel at 6:00 pm and 6:30 pm
Hotel to HEB University Center South at 7:00 pm and 7:30 pm
HEB University Center South to hotel at 10:30 and 11:00 pm

Sunday

Buses will transport participants from the hotel to SwRI at 8:00 am.

At the 3:00 pm close of the conference, buses will take participants to San Antonio International Airport and will return to the hotel for participants who traveled by car.
