UTSA names Karl Miller Lugo vice president for development and alumni relations
The University of Texas at San Antonio today named education philanthropy executive Karl Miller Lugo as its vice president for Development and Alumni Relations. Reporting directly to President Taylor Eighmy, Miller Lugo will lead UTSA in securing transformational funding to further advance its ongoing quest to become a model for student success, a great public research university and an exemplar for strategic growth and innovative excellence.
Position Description
The University of Texas at San Antonio (UTSA) invites nominations, expressions of interest and applications for the position of Vice President for Development and Alumni Relations (VPDAR). UTSA seeks a seasoned leader with demonstrated experience with leading major capital campaigns and high level advancement strategy within a higher education environment.
Search Committee Members
President Eighmy has appointed a committee of faculty, staff, students and community leaders to conduct the search. The university has engaged the search firm Lindauer Global to assist the committee.

The VPDAR Search Committee will begin reviewing applications immediately and continue to accept applications and nominations until the position is filled. Applicants should submit a current resume or curriculum vitae and a cover letter describing relevant experience and interest in the position.
