Real Estate & Property Management Hosts Secure Document Shredding Day

Real Estate and Property Management will provide sensitive document shredding services from 8:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Wednesday, March 27. This service is open to all UTSA faculty, staff and students who wish to have sensitive work or school-related documents securely disposed of. For work-related documents, it’s imperative that all documents being destroyed follow the university’s records retention schedule.

Those who wish to participate should bring documents to be shredded to the parking lot between the H-E-B Student Union (HSU) and the Ximenes Avenue Garage (XAG) on the Main Campus or to the Downtown Campus’ mailroom (DB 0.104). All documents should be placed In banker’s boxes, which will be available at both locations, and should not include any personal documents unrelated to work or classes attended at UTSA.

All documents to be shredded will be stacked on pallets and securely delivered to the Federal Recycling and Waste Solutions San Antonio’s secured site to be destroyed.
