8-18 TxDOT Permanent Closure: I-10 Eastbound Exit Ramp

As part of the Loop 1604 North Expansion Project, TxDOT is permanently closing the I-10 eastbound (EB) exit ramp leading to UTSA Boulevard beginning Monday, Aug. 18. This closure may impact travel times for those travelling southbound on I-10 planning to use the I-10 UTSA Boulevard exit when heading to the Main Campus.

Detour Information: I-10 EB Mainlanes to UTSA Boulevard
North of 1604 Interchange (Option 1)
- Exit via Exit 556 B to the I-10 EB frontage road.
- Follow the I-10 EB frontage road through the Loop 1604 interchange.
- Turn onto UTSA Boulevard.
South of 1604 Interchange (Option 2)
- Exit via Exit 558 to the I-10 EB frontage road.
- Use the turnaround at De Zavala Road, entering the I-10 westbound frontage road.
- Turn onto UTSA Boulevard.
