The University of Texas at San Antonio Partners with College Pads to Deliver New Off-Campus Housing Marketplace

The University of Texas at San Antonio (UTSA) is proud to announce a new partnership with College Pads, launching a dedicated off-campus housing marketplace that will provide significant benefits to students and the wider UTSA community. Effective September 12, 2024, this collaboration reflects UTSA’s commitment to enhancing the student experience and promoting student success through accessible and informed housing options.
As part of the university’s ongoing efforts to support students holistically, the College Pads platform will serve as a resource, offering interactive tools that empower students to make informed decisions about their living arrangements. Through the platform, students will be able to compare housing options, find roommates, and manage subletting arrangements, giving them greater autonomy over their off-campus housing experience.
“We’re thrilled to expand the ways students can explore off-campus housing through this convenient platform,” said LT Robinson, senior vice provost of student affairs and dean of students. “With this resource, Roadrunners can reviewoptions that best fit their needs, helping set them up for success both now and in the future.”
College Pads, accessible via UTSA's Off-Campus Housing website, enhances student engagement by offering a streamlined and user-friendly interface. The inclusion of renter education modules ensures that students are well-prepared for the transition to off-campus living, equipping them with the knowledge to navigate the rental process effectively. Custom-tailored to the needs of student renters, the College Pads platform also offers students a customized roommate and sublease portal.
This partnership is another step forward in UTSA’s broader commitment to wellbeing and student success, ensuring that every Roadrunner has the tools and resources they need to excel both in and out of the classroom. College Pads will serve as a powerful resource for students planning their off-campus living.
