Throughout the year, we used a Superheroes theme to recognize efforts and celebrate accomplishments across the Student Affairs organization. We have celebrated our superheroes with bomb-dot-coms, hosted paleta parties at both the downtown and main campuses, held the annual Thank You Rowdy Breakfast, organized a Student Affairs Panel, and we concluded the year with the annual Student Affairs Awards.

The common thread with all superheroes is their desire to make a positive impact and difference in the world. Some can make that change because they have mutant strength, have been bitten by a radioactive spider, or are a billionaire! Sometimes their solo missions call for them to make a difference and other times these superheroes have to look to others to come together to "Save The World." However, these are just characters. UTSA is truly fortunate that we have real–life superheroes. Superheroes who put on their invisible capes every day and make a difference in the lives of the past, current and future Roadrunners! We all do it together.
