The Global Summer Institute is an immersive interdisciplinary summer experience that explores the creative approaches to solving real-world challenges in business, organizations, and non-profits both domestically and abroad! Whether you are an entrepreneur, intrapreneur, or exploring your professional path this will help you grow professionally and personally.

2025 Institute Dates

Program Dates: May 20, 2025 - July 24, 2025 (Institute meets every Tuesday and Thursday from 9:00 AM - 12:00PM)

Trip: July 12-19, 2025

The Global Summer Institute Guidelines

Must be an undergraduate or graduate student currently enrolled in a degree program at The University of Texas at San Antonio. 

There is a $600 cost to go on the trip. First Payment of $300 will be due May 31, 2025. Second Payment of $300 will be due June 21, 2025. 
* Please note this experience qualifies for the Experiential Learning Scholarship! If selected, the scholarship application link will be sent to you. 

Everyone traveling abroad will need a passport. If you do not have a passport or need to renew the one you have please use this link to get more information.  
 
The average cost for a passport is $165 and they take approximately 3-5 weeks to arrive!

Class Session Location: UTSA 1604 Campus - North Paseo Building

  • Class sessions will meet every Tuesday and Thursday 9 am-12 pm. 
  • The first and last sessions are mandatory. 
  • All sessions are in person. 
  • Excused absences will be appointed on a 1:1 basis not exceeding 2. 
  • *We will not meet on Thursday, July 4th, 2024
