Employee wellness vendor pop-up will bring vaccines, therapy dogs and more to campus
This fall, People Excellence will launch the first Wellness Vendor Pop-Up event, bringing more than 40 wellness partners and vendors to the Main Campus on Oct. 2 from 10 a.m.–2 p.m. at the H-E-B Student Union Ballroom. This fun, free event is open to all UT San Antonio employees and is your chance to explore more than 40 wellness partners and vendors while supporting a campus culture that prioritizes your health and wellbeing.
During the Wellness Vendor Pop-Up, you can chat directly with benefits representatives and wellness partners in a relaxed setting. Whether you have questions about your health coverage, services available to you as a UT San Antonio employee or anything health or wellness-related, someone will be there to assist you.
Scheduled activities include an on-site vaccination clinic hosted in partnership with H-E-B, making it easy to ensure you are up to date on important immunizations. Many major plans, including UT SELECT, are accepted. H-E-B representatives will be there to walk you through coverage and answer questions. Visit the Vaccination Clinics web page to learn more.
In addition to the vaccine clinic, therapy dogs from Alliance of Therapy Dogs and Paws for Service will be on-site to provide stress relief and a little puppy love. Experts from Airrosti, who specialize in pain management and mobility, will also be present to share quick tips and demonstrations to help you move better throughout your day.
The event will also include take-and-go food and drink refreshments and giveaways from People Excellence and vendors while supplies last.
The Wellness Vendor Pop-Up is an excellent opportunity to learn about resources, connect with the campus community and discover a wellness tip (or furry friend) that makes your day brighter.
