Help Keep Our Campuses Clean with Roadrunners Kick Butts
Join People Excellence for the 2025 Great American Smoke Out and help maintain clean, tobacco-free campus spaces with our fourth annual Roadrunners Kick Butts event.
Roadrunners Kick Butts brings faculty and staff together to focus on a single, shared goal: cleaning up tobacco litter. The event also encourages awareness and appreciation of our environment as we work to improve the natural spaces found all around our campuses.
This year’s clean-up walk will be held on Thursday, Nov. 13 at the Main and Downtown campuses. Sign up in advance and then check-in at the Wellness table the day of any time between 10-11 a.m. at the locations below:
- Main Campus: North Paseo Building Breezeway
- Downtown Campus: Frio Street Building Portico
Free clean-up kits, T-shirts and snacks will be provided for attendees while supplies last. Participating UT SELECT members will qualify for 100 points on the UT Living Well app powered by Limeade, which can be used toward Wellness incentives.
UT SELECT also provides eligible employees with a variety of resources designed to support their wellness journey, including tobacco cessation assistance and virtual care options through MDLIVE. Additional educational materials and cessation resources are also available through the American Cancer Society and the City of San Antonio.
