At UTSA, ensuring quality and compliance in construction and real estate management is paramount. Through careful planning and design, conscientious building and best practices in real estate management, RPM offers creative solutions to UTSA's expansion demands. The department operates as a full-service organization that efficiently acquires, arranges, constructs, evaluates and oversees the use of the UTSA's real estate and structures.

That’s where Cameron steps in. With three years of experience with the Inspections and Plan Review team, he plays a crucial role in ensuring that newly constructed, remodeled and renovated projects meet all applicable codes and standards, as well as UTSA’s Design and Construction Standards and the Owner's Project Requirements.

Cameron’s commitment to excellence shines through in every project he inspects. With a keen eye for detail, he meticulously assesses each site, ensuring that all work is of the highest quality. His hands-on approach not only helps maintain safety and quality but also fosters a collaborative environment where communication is key. 

One of Cameron’s favorite aspects of his job is the opportunity to work outside the office. Whether he’s ensuring that work in progress meets specifications, or examining and testing plans, he relishes the chance to be directly involved in the building process. This hands-on involvement allows him to connect with the work on a deeper level, reinforcing his passion for construction.

When Cameron isn’t on the job, you’ll likely find him embracing the great outdoors. He enjoys fishing and hunting, activities that allow him to unwind and reconnect with nature.

Cameron brings expertise, enthusiasm and dedication to his work. In his role, he provides essential support to the department and the university, helping to build a strong and successful future for our growing Roadrunner community.
